Saturday saw Darren and Aimee train their first metropolitan winner since forming a training partnership, with Eaglelou winning the BM64 Furphy Handicap over 1550m.
True to Eaglelou’s racing pattern, he settled well last for the majority of the race before peeling off and chasing hard to score a last-to-first win.
