Congratulations to the Gawler and Barossa Jockey Club for the recent success of our Gawler Cup Day.
It was a fantastic day and was extremely well attended.
Our owners at Darren Magro Racing joined in on the festivities in our inaugural Cup Day Marquee. The support from our clients, together with Trimboli Services saw over 150 guests attend our Marquee.
Our 4 runners on Cup Day ran very well and all signalled they were close to winning soon.
Aside from the Gawler Cup, one of the highlights of the day was a Jericho Cup qualifier run over 3340 metres. What a coup for Shane Collins and the Gawler and Barossa Jockey Club to get one of the qualifying heats for the 300k Jericho Cup final at Warrnambool in December.
We were very proud of our very own Spiegel Grove who ran 2nd in the race and could well make the final.
