Our valued owners were invited to join our annual Darren Magro Owner Marquee on Gawler Cup Day 2021.
With over 130 guests attending, we had a fantastic day with complementary food and beverages as well as having 2 x Crows Premiership player Peter Caven MC and help with the event formalities.
We had a few highlights of the day. Including our marquee ‘Punters Club’. Which saw our Punters Panel, with the help of randomly selected marquee participants, help us invest in each race.
The Punters Club started off a bit rough but came home well to score a big win in the last to bring our pool back up.
With so many getting involved it really did bring a lot of excitement throughout the day.
As part of the Punters Club, each ticket holder went in the draw to win a prize of a 5% ownership share in a 2yo Sidestep Filly. Which included 12 months free training. Congratulations to Kym on winning our Punters prize.
That then brought us to our Darren Magro Racing Best Dressed. Was great to see so many get involved with a wonderful line up for both the mens and womens sections. Congratulations to our winners John and Lillie.
We look forward to this event again next year. It has definitely become a stable highlight.
