Great to see My Mate Sonny break his maiden today at Pt Augusta under the guidance of jockey Sairyn Fawke. Before straightening My Mate Sonny was travelling very well and hit the front to secure a 3 length win. Nice ride Sairyn.
My Mate Sonny is still green and does plenty wrong in his races and will improve further with maturity. This is his 4th run this preparation and he has done a good job so will head to the paddock for a spell. Congratulations to connections.
